Safe Water for Africa

 Africa is a continent with incredible economic promise, but water challenges can hinder growth. To increase access to safe clean drinking water and to reduce the incidence of water borne diseases, our Company, in 2009, announced a six-year, $30 million commitment to provide access to safe drinking water to African communities through the Replenish Africa Initiative (RAIN). One particularly effective RAIN project is Safe Water for Africa, a business-driven safe water access program in several West African countries -- a sustainable, scalable initiative designed to ensure long-term access by ensuring operations and maintenance of these individual water treatment plants.
