Often we wanted to please everyone so we listen to them and follow what they have to say. We ended up compromising our own happiness and living the life we don't want. I have a fair share of this matter. I admit I tried soooo hard to meet everyone's expectations. It is painful.
I have realized later on during my college days that I have to listen to me and be me. Listening to others can greatly affect my decisions and I value them. It's just that I don't need to always follow what they have to say. If I will be making a decision I have to own it and be happily responsible for it. I am much happier now...
